Keep Going: How failure prepared an author and restaurant owner for success

"Without those failures, I don't think I'd be who I am."

In this episode of Keep Going, I talk to Michael Cecchi, a restaurateur and author, who shares his insights on the restaurant business, the importance of creating memorable experiences, and the lessons learned from failures.

Michael discusses the challenges of the industry, the significance of human connection in restaurants, and how skills acquired in hospitality can translate to other fields. He also reflects on his personal journey, including setbacks and the resilience required to bounce back.

Michael wrote the book Your Table is Ready, one my favorite books of the last year. He also runs the restaurant Cecchi’s in Manhattan, a real favorite of mine.
